Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | 5 Days, 8-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the physical and cognitive status of outpatients, considering diagnosis and age-specific needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families, and complete timely discharge planning.
• Maintain thorough documentation including initial evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required notations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
• Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs, as well as Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers.
• Actively support department operations including patient scheduling, orientation of new associates, performance improvement activities, and maintaining productivity standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience.
• Proficiency with all modalities and equipment used by a Physical Therapist as outlined by the governing Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting.
• Familiarity with supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, or student clinical programs.
