Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8-Hour Shifts | No Weekends, No On-Call, No Overtime
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, and implement Physical Therapy services for inpatients in accordance with Ohio state practice standards and facility policies
Assess patients using standardized and non-standardized tests; develop individualized treatment programs based on age, diagnosis, functional status, and personal goals
Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to maximize functional outcomes and plan for discharge
Select and administer appropriate therapeutic techniques, modalities, and interventions; monitor patient response and modify plans as needed
Provide patient and family education and training; make appropriate discharge recommendations including assistive equipment as needed
Manage a caseload of approximately 10–12 patients per day across an orthopedic, post-surgical, cardiac, step-down, neurological, and geriatric patient population
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Ohio
Current BLS/CPR certification (must be non-expired)
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required
Ability to utilize transfer equipment including Sara Steady and Hoyer lifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
Doctorate-level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Specialty certification such as OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, or Women's Health
