    Physical Therapist

    Location

    New Jersey | Outpatient

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week with 1–2 evenings until 7 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (New Jersey)
    • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
    • Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior outpatient physical therapy experience
    • Experience supervising or mentoring PT students
    • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
