Job Summary:
The inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is located in Norfolk, Nebraska, within an acute care setting. This 13-week assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient environment, supporting a multidisciplinary team of therapists. The role involves treating an average of 8-12 patients daily and collaborating closely with occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. Start date is August 11, 2026, with flexible shift start times between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 36-40 hours per week, flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of experience; Nebraska state license to submit; no BSN required; location is Norfolk, Nebraska

• Additional Information: The inpatient PTA position involves working as part of a team to distribute patients and adjust care plans at midday. On average, the PTA will treat 8-12 patients daily, collaborating with 2-3 occupational therapists and 1 speech-language pathologist. There is no daily productivity tracker; weekly monitoring occurs, with a daily goal of 70% productivity, acknowledging variability in inpatient scenarios. Candidates should have flexibility regarding start time and be able to work possibly two to three weekends over the 13-week period.
