Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,014 to $1,214 per week in Wellington, FL

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment.
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC.
• Prior outpatient physical therapy experience is required, including treatment of musculoskeletal and post-surgical patients.
• Experience with common outpatient modalities and interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training with assistive devices, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling, body mechanics instruction, and documentation of patient progress in outpatient electronic medical records.
• Ability to follow established treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist and to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Preferred: Experience with therapeutic pool, paraffin, and advanced outpatient equipment. Preferred: Prior travel or contract outpatient clinic experience.

• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
