Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,158 to $1,358 per week in Lithonia, GA

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Productivity experience or ability to meet productivity expectations (approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day) preferred.
• Ability to work in a team clinic environment; option to support a travel team within the region is possible.
• Will accept first-time travelers and new graduates; this is acceptable to the client.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Primary Rate Type: 8hr Day.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours; overtime requires director approval.
• Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
• Productivity expectation: Approximately 60 visits per week; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
• Float requirement: No floating to other clinics.
• Option to be part of a regional travel team or work in a neighboring clinic: Yes.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
