Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Massachusetts PTA license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities and assistive-device training preferred (examples: ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, gait training with canes/crutches/walkers).
  • Ability to implement treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist and document patient progress.
