Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Massachusetts PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Client requires prior experience with restorative programs, transfers and mobility training, and fall prevention strategies. This experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow PT-established plans of care and document per facility and state requirements.
