Make a real difference as a travel PTA in an outpatient clinic in Baltimore, MD. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Maryland PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Minimum experience: Not a new graduate. Clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports-related settings preferred.
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities and interventions listed in the job description, including gait training, balance and coordination exercises, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, whirlpool, and paraffin, preferred.
  • Ability to implement treatment plans established by a Physical Therapist and to document patient progress accurately.
  • Ability to train patients in use of assistive devices and orthotics, and to demonstrate safe patient handling and guarding techniques.
  • Willingness to split schedule between two clinic locations as part of optimal coverage agreement.
  • Adherence to facility policies on safety, infection control, attendance, and professional appearance.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern; approximately 32–36 hours per week.
  • Positions Available: 1.
  • Floating: Candidate should be able to split coverage between two clinic locations as requested by the client.
