Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,259 to $1,459 per week in Dunwoody, GA

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Georgia State PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings required. New graduates considered.
• Familiarity with common outpatient modalities: therapeutic exercise, gait training, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, TENS, paraffin, and assistive device training.
• Ability to document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Preferred: experience with aquatic therapy, fluidotherapy, or therapeutic pool modalities.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Schedule: Monday/Wednesday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM with one-hour lunch; Tuesday/Thursday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with 30-minute lunch.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Assignment Duration: 13 week engagement.
• Positions Available: 1.
