Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,284 to $1,484 per week in Apopka, FL

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs, transfers and gait training, and use of standard rehab equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and therapeutic modalities preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist and document per facility and state regulations.
