Location Highlights
Boise, Idaho offers access to outdoor recreation and a walkable downtown setting. The Boise River Greenbelt stretches about 25 miles through the city and connects to Julia Davis Park and Ann Morrison Park. Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is about 16 miles from downtown Boise and offers skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer. The city also features the Idaho Botanical Garden and the Old Idaho Penitentiary, both located near the foothills and within a short drive of central Boise.
