Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant working in a skilled nursing facility in Hendersonville, NC. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required prior to or upon start of assignment.
  • Previous experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred. This includes experience with restorative programs, ADL-focused treatment, transfers, gait training, and fall prevention strategies.
  • Comfort with documentation in electronic medical record systems. Experience with Meditech, PointClickCare, or similar systems preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including nursing and therapy staff.
  • Current immunizations and TB testing per facility policy.
