Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,296 to $1,496 per week in Pampa, TX

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active TX license or Compact license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required, including experience in long term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Ability to implement therapeutic interventions such as exercise, gait and balance training, massage, and to document patient progress under PT direction.
• Willingness to comply with facility-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements.
• Preferred: prior experience working with electronic medical records.

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours guaranteed.
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
• Start Window: May–August timeframe (start date in May, end date in August).
• Weekend Requirements: None.
• Compact License Accepted. Candidate must hold TX or Compact license.
• Travel Assignment: candidate may be expected to follow facility float policies within the organization.
