We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care and help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
