Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,336 per week in Grovetown, GA

Facility Overview: Grovetown is in a military community located near Fort Gordon Army Base and serves as a bedroom community to Augusta, GA. The area has experienced significant growth with new families and retired military residents. The clinic treats a wide range of diagnoses and patient age groups in an outpatient setting. Position Needed: PTA Key Experience and Skills Required: Outpatient experience required. Patient Ratios / Productivity: 55 60 patients per week. Evaluation Times: All evaluations are 60 minutes. Types of Cases Seen: Group/Concurrent Therapy, Screening/Building Caseload, Gross Motor Assessments, Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Back Pain (Post-Operative), Calf Strain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Disc Herniation, Fractures/Stress Fractures, Generalized Low Back Pain, Headache, Meniscus Tear, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Plantar Fasciitis, Postural Dysfunction, Rotator Cuff Non-Surgical Intervention, Rotator Cuff Repair (Post-Operative Care), SI Joint Dysfunction, Stenosis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, TMJ Dysfunction, Total Joint Replacement, Brachial Plexus Injury, Concussion, CVA, Degenerative Diseases, Muscular Dystrophy, MS, Parkinson's Disease, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Vestibular Disorders, and Vertigo. Patient Population: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Years of Experience Preferred: 1+ year. New Graduates Accepted: Yes, with some orthopedic experience. Schedule Details: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM shifts on at least 2 days and 8:00 AM 5:00 PM on Fridays. The remaining two days can be either 10:00 AM 7:00 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Option for four 10-hour shifts with hours of 8:00 AM 7:00 PM. Schedule Structure: Flexible scheduling options available. Clinic Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00 AM 7:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Documentation System: NextGen. Staff Support: 3 PTs, 1 PTA, aides, and PEC support. Floating Requirements: None. Temp-to-Perm Opportunity: Open to discussion.
