Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to help patients improve strength and function
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention

Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
  • Active Kansas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
