Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, Virginia. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility, improve function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities - Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements - Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
