Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities under PT supervision
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients on exercises and proper techniques for recovery and injury prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care

Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:

Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
