REQUIREMENTS
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and rehabilitation techniques
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Commitment to providing patient-centered care and achieving positive outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
Provide gait training, transfer training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, and mobility interventions
Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Ensure patient safety and comfort during all therapy sessions
Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
Adhere to all professional, regulatory, and facility standards of care

Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
