Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of restorative and rehabilitative therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing therapeutic interventions designed to enhance mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.

SHIFT DETAILS
  • Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Meal Break: 30 Minutes
  • Day Shift
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License/Certification in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care experience preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients in improving strength, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility
  • Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safe mobility techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
  • Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and patient safety measures
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Follow established rehabilitation protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote patient independence, safety, and quality of life throughout the rehabilitation process
