Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of restorative and rehabilitative therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing therapeutic interventions designed to enhance mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.

Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License/Certification in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR certification preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care experience preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions
Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
Assist patients in improving strength, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility
Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safe mobility techniques
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and patient safety measures
Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Follow established rehabilitation protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
Promote patient independence, safety, and quality of life throughout the rehabilitation process
