Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitative therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care experience preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
• Provide gait training, transfer training, mobility exercises, and balance interventions
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy programs and home exercises
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and healthcare professionals
• Assist patients in achieving functional goals and improving independence
• Adhere to all professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
