Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will support physical therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.
This role involves assisting with therapeutic interventions and contributing to patient recovery under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
Provide hands-on support during rehabilitation activities
Educate patients on prescribed exercises and home programs
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with PTs and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure safe and effective delivery of therapy services
