Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Home Health experience License: State PTA license required (must obtain prior to starting) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: Home Health experience Description: This position requires a Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in home health care. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in home health. A state PTA license is required and must be obtained prior to starting. Basic Life Support certification is required. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included in the initial submission. Requests for time off made after this will not be considered. Travelers are subject to an attendance policy. Missing more than two shifts without reasonable explanation may lead to contract review for cancellation. Candidates must possess experience in general rehabilitation and various specific diagnoses. The daily census involves an average of 6 patients, with an expectation of 6 visits per day. Interdisciplinary support will be available in this role. The candidate will work with adult and geriatric populations. Recent experience with specific charting systems is preferred but not required. Pass/fail testing will occur on the first day of orientation. Compliance documents must be submitted 5 business days prior to the scheduled start date. Candidates must go into the lab within 24 hours after signing. Modules are not required for this position.
