Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient's progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and their families about exercises and therapeutic procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
