PTAs read instructions from the Physical Therapist. They work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients. They speak with families to find the best at-home techniques. PTAs keep the physical therapy area clean and organized. They move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area. PTAs complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork. They teach patients techniques such as balance training.
