  • Schedule: 5×8
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay:$1800 to $2000
Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, mobility training, and other rehabilitation interventions
  • Monitor patient progress and accurately report treatment responses to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety precautions
  • Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and the proper use of assistive devices
  • Maintain accurate treatment documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure therapy equipment is clean, safe, and functioning properly
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Follow infection prevention guidelines, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that supports optimal recovery and independence
Requirements
  • Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
  • Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PTA experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient mobility training
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to work independently under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based rehabilitation care
