Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,815 per week in Lake Zurich, IL

Periodic office meetings are required. Candidate must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Each contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. No guaranteed hours are provided. If there is a situation where the contractor is unable to meet their financial needs due to low patient census, please reach out to discuss options. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Ups. First-timers are not accepted; candidates must have recent Home Health experience. Weekend requirements vary per location and should be discussed during the interview. On-call requirements vary per job/location and should be discussed with management during the interview. Candidate must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The contractor will be compensated for travel from patient home to patient home. Commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Pending licenses are not accepted unless licensure takes a few days to obtain. Expected weekly productivity points must reach 30 to equate to approximately 40 hours per week. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed and incomplete documentation can impact billing and follow-up patient care. Candidates must understand that there are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Candidates must accept every patient on their schedule, regardless of travel distance between appointments. Floating to another nearby clinic may be necessary to support financial needs based on patient availability. Experience with specific charting systems is required. Must be proficient in the EMR system utilized and have used it within the last six months. Travelers must meet specific compliance requirements.
