Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,823 per week in West Bridgewater, MA

Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience; Reliable transportation; Current driver's license; Agency-required liability insurance Description: Home visits required for patient care. Periodic office meetings needed. Average number of patients per day is 5-6. Each type of visit and activity holds a different point value. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Patients equate to roughly 6-8 points per day. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. Weekend requirements vary per location and profession. Must discuss on-call requirements during the interview. Traveler must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home base. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The contractor is compensated for travel from patient home to patient home. Commuting to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Contractor should expect to travel approximately 250 miles per week. Weekly productivity expectation is 30 points, which equates to 40 hours per week. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Delayed and incomplete documentation will impact billing and patient care. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Overtime must be pre-approved. If there are insufficient patients to meet financial needs, options to float to nearby locations are available. Experience with specific EMR systems is required. Proficiency in OASIS is essential. No contract hours are guaranteed. Open to traveling up to 75 miles away from the assigned care center. Local candidates accepted at the same rate. Must be comfortable accepting every patient on the schedule regardless of distance.
