Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant - Long Term Care - Travel- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
- Support patients in achieving their therapeutic goals with exercises and other physical interventions
- Record patient progress and provide feedback to the physical therapist
- Ensure equipment is clean and maintained properly
- Promote and maintain fundamental principles of confidentiality and informed consent regarding patient information
Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant - Long Term Care - Travel- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
