Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $2,217 per week in Kennewick, WA

Must have a current driver's license. Must have agency-required liability insurance. Description: This position involves home visits as part of a home health program. Periodic office meetings are required. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Each type of visit and activity holds a different point value. Contractors are expected to accumulate roughly 30 points per week. In scenarios of low patient census, contractors are encouraged to discuss options for hours with management. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. Weekend requirements will vary based on location and profession. Travelers must be willing to cover a territory of up to 75 miles from home. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates will be accepted at standard rates. Pending licenses must be obtained before beginning the role. Contractors will not be required to cover weekend shifts. There will be no on-call responsibilities. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient appointments. Delayed documentation may impact billing and follow-up care. Contract hours are not guaranteed. Clinicians must achieve weekly productivity points of 30 to maintain full-time expectations. If not receiving enough patients, contractors may float to nearby clinics to pick up hours.
