Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient care and implementing treatment plans
• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other physical therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility requirements
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
• Prior experience in an outpatient or relevant physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
• Must obtain a permanent state license; compact license may be accepted at start but permanent licensure must be obtained promptly

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
