Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas (permanent license required)
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
- Ability to complete any required facility-specific documentation processes before beginning the assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient rehabilitation environment
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
