Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday through Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Adhere to all facility policies, including identification and badging requirements while on site
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico
- Valid state or federally issued photo identification required on-site at all times
- Must meet New Mexico caregiver registry requirements
- Ability to commit to a 13-week contract with a 35-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a facility-based or rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with New Mexico state compliance and caregiver registry processes
