Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients during treatment sessions
• Wear a valid photo badge and present state or federal issued identification at the facility at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
• Must meet agency credentialing requirements including an active NM caregivers account
• 35-hour weekly guarantee commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a contract or registry staffing capacity
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to facility protocols and patient care environments
