Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional training to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and proper techniques
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Georgia
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule of 8-hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and clinical staff
