Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Days | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in an independent living and assisted living setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising therapist
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to meet a 30-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting
- Experience working within independent living or assisted living environments
