Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico or compact eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to commit to a 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy role
• Familiarity with a variety of patient populations and diagnoses
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interaction
