Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday through Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to patients in accordance with established care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to commit to a 13-week contract with a 36-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in an outpatient or clinical therapy setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
