Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and plan of care
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with geriatric patient populations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
