Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's individualized care plan
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately following each treatment session
- Report treatment results and patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Deliver rehabilitative care within a long-term care setting, supporting patients through short and extended recovery periods
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (required)
- Active Texas state license or valid compact license (required)
- Degree or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Familiarity with creating and following personalized patient care plans
