Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's individualized care plan
Monitor and document patient progress accurately following each treatment session
Report treatment results and patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to support meaningful rehabilitation goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience (required)
Active Texas state PTA license or compact license (required)
Ability to work within a long-term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
Experience developing and following personalized patient care plans
