Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care
Document and record patient progress accurately following each treatment session
Report treatment results and patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience required
Active Texas state license or compact license required
Must be able to work within a long term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility environment
Familiarity with documentation and reporting standards in a therapy setting
