Physical Therapy Assistant

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout their care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting required
- Must meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
- Permanent state license required; compact license alone is not sufficient for long-term assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
