Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Coral Springs, FL

Position Summary

You will support patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries—helping them manage pain and regain movement—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in FL.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Willingness to follow established treatment plans and consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress.
• Documentation skills to record treatment and patient interactions in accordance with clinic policies.
• Client-specific requirements: PTA to DPT Pathway Program participation available; tuition reimbursement eligibility; ability to engage in unlimited internal CEUs and apply for external CEU stipend.

What You'll Do

Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist. Progress patients skillfully and safely through treatment levels within patient capabilities. Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient condition. Document all treatment and pertinent patient interaction per policy. Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities. Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other members of the rehabilitation team. Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and clinic culture.
