Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: PTA Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: Full Time Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Previous experience preferred License: State licensure in MD or DE depending on facility hired for Certifications: BLS CPR certification through American Heart Association Must-Have: - High school or four-year technical school plus up to two years training in a specialty OR two years of college or comparable education - Licensure requires 20 continuing education contact hours or 2.0 CEUs per 2 years Description: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for the provision of physical therapy treatment programs as planned by the Physical Therapist.
