Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to fulfill a 30-hour weekly guarantee for the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment
