Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to fulfill a 30-hour weekly guarantee for the duration of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment
