Weekly Gross: $960–$1,000 (Based on 40 Hours)
We are actively seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Elkton, Virginia on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative rehabilitation team while helping patients improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility programs
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
