Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional improvement
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including wearing a photo ID badge at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Maine
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
• Ability to fulfill a 20-week contract commitment
• Availability to work day shifts across a flexible weekly schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a facility-based or clinical setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
