Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout the course of care
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license — permanent state license required
- Prior experience working as a PTA in a relevant clinical setting
- Ability to meet facility-specific credentialing and compliance requirements prior to start
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with contract or travel therapy assignments
